Bunny France: Memoir of a Holborn Funeral Director gives an insight to the career of Bunny France who started working in the family business in 1947. The book describes the changes that have occurred in funeral directing that Bunny has experienced over the past seventy years, including the increasing preference for cremation and the international transportation of coffins. A section focuses on the firm’s involvement in the funerals of three Archbishops of Westminster. Bunny also provides a few recollections of the changes that have occurred in the Lamb’s Conduit Street area of Holborn.
